48 Hours of Street Food in Paris: Part 2

And here we are with the second part of our Paris street food adventure.

After a first round full of youtiao, tofu, buns, bento, parotta and pizza slices, we kept exploring the city through even more flavors, cultures and very cool street food spots.

In this episode, we started with a pain au chocolat from Du Pain et des Idées, then moved on to the chapati from Di Napoli, the bánh mì from Saigon Sandwich, the tacos from Taco Mesa, and finally the magnificent Kurdish sandwich from Urfa Dürüm.

So yes, Paris surprised us once again. Not always in the most French way, but definitely in a very delicious one.

48 Hours of Street Food in Paris: Part 1

We finally made it to Paris for a new street food exploration around the city.

One thing we definitely struggled to find was French street food, and this is where we need your help: what is the food that French people actually eat on the street, standing up, at any time of the day?

In this first part of our Paris adventure, we tried a lot of very interesting things: youtiao and tofu from Best Tofu, the gastronomic sandwich from Chez Aline, the bento from 4m2, Shanghai buns from JIXIAO’S BUNS, parotta from Muniyandi Vilas, and finally the much-talked-about NY slices from RORI.

So yes, a lot of very cool things already, and this is just the first part of our adventure here.

What we ate for Lunar New Year in Milan Chinatown

The Spring Festival, often known as Chinese New Year, is one of the most important celebrations in China and across much of Southeast Asia. It’s a time for family reunions: welcoming the new year and sharing wishes of luck and prosperity.

It’s a celebration that has traveled far, and today it’s felt and celebrated in many parts of the world. Today we’re in Milan to see how this community celebrates New Year here, and, above all, what can’t be missing from their tables.

We tasted dumplings, noodles, meat and fish dishes, and a sweet rice dessert. Each dish is symbolic and deeply rooted in tradition.

A Serious Cheeseburger Ranking in London

While we were in London, we got a serious cheeseburger craving. We’re very hungry people, so we did the only reasonable thing: we tried 5 of the city’s best burgers and ranked them using three scores:
Balance (flavour + texture)
Iconicity (does it feel like the burger?)
Price–Quality (is it worth it?)

On the list: Bleecker Burger, Dumbo (the Paris burger joint that just opened in London), Burger & Beyond, Dove (we managed to grab 3 out of only 10 burgers available per service), and the famous Dexter Burger at Four Legs.
It was a long day… but honestly, nothing is more comforting than a proper burger.
Let us know if we skipped your favourite burger in the city.

24 Hours of Street Food in London

We were genuinely blown away by the spots we found on our first day of street food in London. We started with a classic baigel, then moved on to an all Italian maritozzo. After that, we tried an amazing vegan falafel and a huge kebab. To wrap it up, we hit two more incredible places: a killer flatbread and some delicious Nigerian barbecue.

6 Must-Try Street Food Spots in Athens

Athens welcomed us with history, noise, and a lot of good food. We started the day at Takis Bakery with spanakopita and bougatsa, then moved to Mam for handmade cheese pies. At Achilleas we found a juicy pork gyros that stayed on our minds for days.
We kept going with smash burgers and fried chicken at Ekiben Kitchen, tried simple and perfect meatballs at Yórghos, and closed the night at Alekos Canteen, a food truck that has been feeding the city since 1987.

Athens gave us exactly what we were looking for: flavor, tradition, and a few surprises along the way.

Street Food Marseille

As always, we explore a city starting with its street food. Marseille is a lively, chaotic city full of character, and its street food is no different. We kicked things off with some pastries, then tried a Vietnamese-inspired sandwich, followed by a food truck run by a 3-Michelin-star chef. A quick stop in Vietnam again, a bit of raw fish, and we wrapped things up with an ugly looking pizza, could it actually be good?

Street Food Stockholm

We explored Stockholm through its street food, a journey between tradition and international influences. We started with the Semla, a beloved Swedish pastry that’s only available during a specific time of the year. Then we tasted the city’s most iconic hot dog, followed by what might just be the best smash burger in town. We went back to something more traditional with sardines, served the Swedish way, before making a quick stop at a tiny Thai spot, where Ester had one of her favorite desserts: mango sticky rice. And of course, we had to end with a seriously good slice of pizza.

Street Food Rome

We stopped in Rome to explore the best street food the Eternal City has to offer. From sweet Roman classics like maritozzo and artisan gelato, to iconic pizza and delicious international bites like kebab — this episode is a full taste experience.
